Patient Experience
At our practice, we are committed to ensuring our patients feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible during their appointments. To achieve this, we provide a variety of amenities, including weighted blankets, TVs, music, and noise-cancelling headphones.

Our office also features a central essential oil diffuser system, creating a soothing, aromatic environment from the moment patients step through the door. Additionally, we have a full-body massage chair available for their use and enjoyment.

We require all patient forms to be completed before your scheduled appointment. You can access and fill out the forms online by clicking here. If you are unable to complete the forms at home, please arrive 30 minutes early to your appointment to do so at our office.

Insurance & Financial Policy

At Extraordinary Smiles, patient comfort is our utmost priority. We believe in making your treatment a reality through flexible dental payment plans, regardless of whether you have insurance.

Our two preferred third-party finance options are Cherry and CareCredit - plans that most patients find convenient and accessible.​

While we work with most PPO insurance plans, please confirm with your insurance provider that we are in-network with them.

It is your responsibility to provide us with accurate, up-to-date information about your dental insurance coverage at the time your appointment is scheduled. Failure to do so will result in you being responsible for the full payment of each visit until we can verify your coverage.​​

As a courtesy, we verify patient benefits and coverage with insurance companies to provide you with an estimate of your copay, patient portion, and out-of-pocket expenses prior to your appointment. This estimated amount will be due at check-in.​

Appointment Policy
​
At our practice, we are committed to providing excellent dental care to all our patients. To ensure consistency, we have implemented an Appointment Policy that enables us to schedule appointments for every patient. When an appointment is booked, that time slot is reserved exclusively for you. If an appointment is missed, that time cannot be allocated to treat another patient.

Please confirm your appointment
We will contact you multiple times prior to your appointment by text, email and telephone. You MUST reply to one of these contacts to confirm your appointment.

Late arrival policy
We kindly ask our patients to be respectful of our time. If you are more than 15 minutes late, we may not be able to render the scheduled treatment. While we certainly understand that delays may happen, we have an obligation and responsibility to do our very best to treat patients who are here for their appointments on time. We strongly encourage all our patients to arrive at least 10 minutes early for scheduled appointments.

We request all patients to complete the required forms prior to the appointment but for any reason you are not able to complete the forms at home, please arrive 30 minutes prior to your appointment. We will be happy to help you fill out the forms at the office.

Cancellation/Rescheduling
We kindly request that you provide us with at least 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows us to schedule patients on our waiting list into that appointment.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee.

Missed appointment
We kindly ask all our patients that if you cannot make it to your appointment, please give us a call immediately. Any missed appointment will be subject to a missed appointment fee that cannot be billed to the insurance company and will be the patient's direct responsibility. No future appointments can be scheduled without the payment of this fee.
We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and we will consider exceptions on a case-by-case basis. Our goal is to be respectful of all our patients' time and provide a comfortable experience to all.
